Cincinnati Opera and Cincnnati Conservatory of Music's OPERA NOW program is currently workshopping Sarah's first opera, HILDEGARD. Co-commissioned by Beth Morrison Projects and the Aspen Music Festival, the opera is based on events in the life of 12th century German Benedictine polymath Hildegard von Bingen, and features a libretto written by Sarah herself. The opera has four female voices, four male voices, and nine instruments.
